This film seems to be geared toward the 17–20 demographic; it's lighthearted, silly, and vaguely stoner, but it doesn't go all in. If you're not searching for a serious watch, it's okay for a casual one. I'd give it a rate of 6 even if it's unmemorable and unlikely to be seen twice. It's clearly a B (or maybe even C) horror-comedy, with childlike horror elements that undercut the tension. Some scenes, like the shotgun moment, may be a bit much for kids, but there’s little actual gore. The second half improves, and the film has a unique atmosphere that adds some charm. Matty Cardaropole carries the comedy, though he’s underused in the first half. Corey Fogelmanis, with his Aaron Carter-esque look, adds an amusing presence. Overall, it's not great but not terrible. I debated between a 5 or 6, but it's definitely not the worst out there.Leggi tutto
