Let me start by saying that, compared to "other movies," this one might not be a perfect 10. However, for what it aims to be—a kid-friendly, lighthearted, and straightforward film—it deserves a 10 in my book. My 8-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter absolutely loved it, and so did I. The story was sweet and full of heart.
I found myself tearing up each time the dog transformed into another, which surprised me since I don't consider myself overly sensitive. This movie reminds me a bit of Look Who’s Talking—not from a baby’s perspective, but from a dog’s. Whether it feels realistic or not doesn’t matter; it’s a film meant to make you smile, not reflect reality.
