I enjoy zombie apocalypse movies, but this one didn't bring anything fresh or unique compared to others in the genre over the years. It's not bad, just pretty average, if you're looking for something new, you might be disappointed.
There’s definitely potential here, but the writing holds it back. The first half of the movie hardly has any zombies, which might be due to a low budget since they could’ve done more with the small-town setting. Also, the main character could've tried fishing to survive if food was scarce.
Overall, this just feels like another typical addition to the genre. It’s puzzling why the writers and directors don’t take more risks and try something different, as audiences are craving fresh, exciting stories. Hopefully, they’ll take this into account if they decide to make a sequel.
