Everything you could possibly want in a fantastic series is present in The Diplomat: comedy, drama, excellent acting and writing, etc. The show centers on Keri Russell, a diplomat who, following an international crisis caused by an attack on an aircraft carrier, is appointed ambassador to the United Kingdom. She also has to deal with her tumultuous marriage and her husband, Rufus Sewell, who is already a political celebrity. I binge-watched all eight episodes of this show in a single weekend because I like it so much. It has already obtained an early renewal for a third season because it has been performing so well and receiving such positive reviews. Without a doubt, I'll be watching it and watching to see how this show develops.
